Value Hunters Nicotine salt liquids shortlist (1.0 ohm mesh)
Nicotine salt liquids advice for Liverpool, covering coil compatibility, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The Liverpool market for nicotine salt liquids has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. We would pair the Hcigar Akso with a 35:65 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
Most Liverpool buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. We would pair the Hcigar Akso with a 35:65 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
Airflow control on the Hcigar Akso is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 100, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
In Liverpool, availability of the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The wide bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 35:65 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
Battery behaviour is where the Hcigar Akso earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 100 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the Hcigar Akso with a 35:65 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
What surprised us most was how little the 1.5 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1770 full puffs from a charge at 3 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
Pricing in Liverpool shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Vapour production is more than adequate at 100, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Vanilla Custard: creamy, rich, described as warm vanilla bean with a smooth cream finish. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Liverpool
Availability in Liverpool is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.5 Ω regular and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
